  Schwermaschinenbau “Heinrich Rau” is established

  Commencement of crankshaft manufacturing

  The company is renamed Schwermaschinenbau AG Wildau near Berlin (SMB AG)

  Wildauer Kurbelwelle GmbH emerges from SMB AG

  Activation of 6 new CNC work centres for machining crankshafts to a length of 10,500 mm

  Member of the Georgsmarienhütte (GMH) Group of Companies

  Major investment in centralisation of multiple workshop locations and expansion of manufacturing possibilities in order to machine crankshafts to a length of 12,000 mm

  Wildauer Kurbelwelle GmbH splits into Gröditzer Kurbelwelle Wildau GmbH for crankshaft manufacturing and Wildauer Schmiedewerke Wildau GmbH for die-forging within the GMH Group of Companies
